Sorath Gadh Resort is located on the Haripur - Bhalchhel Road, close to the Gir Sanctuary boundary. The resort offers well-appointed AC rooms with modern en-suite bathrooms, a private veranda with seating, and all the essentials for a relaxed jungle-side stay.
Our in-house restaurant serves freshly cooked Gujarati and Kathiyawadi thalis along with North Indian favourites. Most vegetables are sourced locally, and guests can also request light continental options.
The gypsy safaris into Gir forest offer visitors an unforgettable chance to witness lions, leopards and a wide range of wildlife in their natural habitat.
Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1412 sq km hilly tract of dry deciduous forest, acacia scrub and grassland, home to over 400 Asiatic Lions and around 400 leopards - one of India's major big-cat concentrations. Sambar, spotted deer, blue bull, chausingha and chinkara also thrive here, alongside jackal, striped hyena, jungle cat and porcupine.
The park is also home to over 300 species of birds, making it a rewarding destination for birdwatchers as much as for lion sightings. Sasan Gir is the main hub for booking and starting jungle safaris into the park.
